Many theatre companies are wading into the beautiful waters of gender inclusive theatre, whether through nontraditional casting, queer and women-centered show selection, or expanding artistic interpretations. As a nonbinary artistic director, producer, and director, Jasmine has personal and professional insight for how to incorporate gender awareness and authenticity into productions how casting impacts the story. They have worked as a gender consultant, which includes casting assistance, dramaturgical support both on new and established works, acting coaching, for companies such as the 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, ArtsWest, and Fantastic Z Theatre. They also served as a gender consultant for a comic book series.
